A Small Tribute to Farrah!

Farrah Fawcett, was a fresh-faced woman from Corpus Christi, Texas. In the early 1960s, she was voted the "Beautiful Woman" by her high school colleagues. In the late 1960s, she had her first break in guest-starring roles in shows such as "I Dream of Jeannie" (1965), "The Flying Nun" (1967) and "The Partridge Family" (1970). Then, in 1968, she dated actor Lee Majors, and the couple were married on July 28, 1973. Shortly after, Majors starred in his series "The Six Million Dollar Man" (1974) and Farrah guest-starred in four episodes. As her career took off, she posed in her red bathing suit for a poster, and it sold a staggering 8,000,000 plus copies.

After the poster was released, producers Aaron Spelling and Leonard Goldberg starred her in the Crime/Drama Megahit show "Charlie's Angels" (1976). Farrah received a paycheck for $10,000 an episode, Then, in 1998, Farrah was severely injured by James Orr, after she had spurned his proposal of marriage. In 2006, Farrah was diagnosed with anal cancer After going through countless treatments, her health deteriorated rapidly, and she passed away on June 25, 2009, aged 62.

A Torres Tradition

l was thinking the other day on the nice times I spend with my dear husband on daily basis..you know those little things that always stick to your "wife heart" and I need to said that one of the one's that I enjoy the most are those 15 to 20 min i spend with Manuel before we go to work. Manuel normally wake-up before me..and I stay sleeping or better said procrastinating ..just 5 more min..please...

Meantime He already clean-up the dishes and make fresh coffee..while I still dragging my self out the bed! then finally the smell of fresh brew coffee wakes me up and finally I get ready! ..When i get to kitchen..there is my DH and My Dear cup of coffee waiting for me..
During this time we just sit and talk about the things pending for the day, the news, traffic, work, the kids! well we just catch-up on everything..is a great time..then he kiss me good-bye and I bless him for the day!

Is the peferct start of a busy day!

Yeap! Woo-hoo...just read my email and I will be Publish!! So Happy ..Ly LO "there are angels" was published on the Artesanian Notebook Magazine, July Edition and my LO "the Pianist" Will be Published on August one!! But not only that!! Yeap there is more!! I also WON 1st prize on the digital category for the month of July for ScrapNwin! and.....Canidian Scrapbook Maganize is going to published one of my traditional Scrapbook Lo's! Woo I'm so happy!!!

Well for now here is a LO I just did with one kit from the Artisanian Notebok Store! Hope you like it...the beautiful ballerina is my Hubby Grandauther, Nataly she is only 5 year and just love to dance!
